LIT Outdoor Lighting
Landscape Lighting in Tulsa, OK
Custom low-voltage LED lighting for trees, house walls, and walkways, designed and installed around your property.
Landscape lighting starts with a walk around the property, usually at dusk, to see what the house actually looks like once the sun is down. We figure out which trees have the shape worth showing off, where the house needs a wash of light instead of a spotlight, and where the walkway or steps are a trip hazard once it's dark. Then we run low-voltage wire from a transformer, usually mounted near an outlet on the house, out to each fixture location.
The wiring is where a lot of systems fail later. Wire buried too shallow gets cut by a shovel or an edger. We use brass and copper fixtures because they hold up to Oklahoma weather, from summer heat to ice storms, without the housing degrading.
How it runs
- Site walk We walk the property after dark to see what actually needs light and mark fixture spots.
- Design We lay out the fixture types, wire runs, and transformer location before anything goes in the ground.
- Install Wire gets buried, fixtures get set and aimed, and the transformer gets wired to a nearby outlet.
- Adjust and test We turn everything on at night and adjust aim and brightness before calling it finished.
- Ongoing maintenance Fixtures get checked, bulbs get swapped, and wiring gets repaired as the yard changes over time.
